We at Three Kings Flooring have been servicing the Fort Wayne area for over 35 years with flooring installation. One question we have been asked thousands of times over the years is who do you recommend to clean carpet. Recently we found the answer to that question, Referral Carpet Cleaning. Thank you for doing such a fine job on our carpet. So many times, the service of many of your competitors has failed to meet expectations. One always feels a bit uncomfortable having to ask the cleaning crew to take extra time and effort to address the traffic areas for proper cleaning. In your case, you took the time to clean traffic areas with care and without being prompted. Additionally, you treated every area with care and attention to detail. It is nice to have someone come into our home who treats it like it were his own. Several times after your competitors left our home...it was hard to tell they had been here and on one occasion, the dirt from their hoses left the stairs in worse shape than when they arrived. Although your price may be a bit higher...this is one of those cases where you really feel like you have received a bargain.

I would like to personally recommend Referral Carpet cleaning. I have used their services several times and have been completely satisfied. I have found there to be no comparison to the other companies I have had clean my carpets. In the past I have tried Stanley Steamer and unfortunately the carpets were left wet, stains were not removed, and an unpleasant odor remained. The employees were late and unprofessional in appearance. I also tried ChemDry, however they also did not arrive when scheduled and the quality of the cleaning was far less than desired. Thank you, thank you for yet another job supremely done! Having had another company come out and attempt to clean the carpets to save money, we were highly distraught with the results. We had paid S------ S------ $222.00 to come out and clean our carpets, which consisted of 6 pet stains, three with red dye from dog food coloring that would need heat in order to effectively be removed. S------ S------ informed us that they could not be held liable, and no longer used heat to remove such stains. We were in high hopes that the other three (one very large) pet stains would be easily removed. After a very quick cleaning, we were left with the same exact stains as when they arrived. Their process of cleaning consisted on one sweep over an area, in fact, my husband had to tell them on three occasions to go back over certain areas because they were still dirty. It wa also intimidating to try to be sold over and over their “Spot Cleaner,” when in fact they couldn't get the spots out themselves. However, he guaranteed me had I originally used the spot remover, that I would not have any spots indeed! After I declined that offer, he ran to his van and came back with a floor mat that he would sell me for $30.00 that we could use in the garage, and it would have a lifetime warranty. Yet again, I had to pass on the offer. We finally choked down our pride and wrote the check for work that we felt was not accomplished. I was told that I might just want to get an area rug to cover the stains! Angry, dismayed and just plain mad that we had gotten absolutely nothing for our money and it seemed our carpets looked worse than when they arrived, we agreed to call Referral Carpet Cleaning and beg for their mercy! We knew we should have called you in the first place, but trying to pinch a penny, I called S------ S------ instead. Now, I was furious and embarrassed for not having the true professionals come in the first place. My husband explained the situation and our desperate need for help. Referral agreed without hesitation to come out even though it was late, and they had not eaten dinner yet, and clean what the other company could not accomplish. Recently one of my dogs had a virus that unfortunately gave him diarrhea. The dog had several accidents through the house. I called a major carpet cleaning chain in town and they sent someone over. All they did was deodorize and clean the area. I was left with a large mustard colored stain in the center of my living room with crème colored carpeting. I could not sleep that night I did not know what to do, the carpet was only 2 years old. In desperation I called the Beaulieu, the carpet manufacturer and CR carpet where I purchased the carpeting. I have been using Referral Carpet Cleaning since 1999. I have tried many other carpet cleaners before them. I was never very satisfied with any of those companies, so I kept trying new companies. I even used the ‘big name’ cleaners. After they went over the carpet with their carpet rake it looked good, but when it dried stains would reappear and it would still look dirty. What I remember most about the first time I tried Referral Carpet Cleaning is that the carpet looked great, even after it dried. I remember telling my mother that I would never use another carpet cleaner again. However, last year I found one of those cheap three room carpet coupons and thought I would try it. I knew the cleaners would not do a great job like Referral, but I thought they would at least clean it up some and would look a little better. My family room carpet is white and I have 5 children and pets so it gets really dirty. Then I planned on having Referral Carpet Cleaning do their really good cleaning right before my sons birthday and Christmas. When the other cleaner was finishing I noticed that I could still see the lines where my area rugs had been. The man told me he couldn’t get the stains out or get it to match the carpet where the area rugs had been. I told him that my usual carpet cleaner can get all the stains out and can get the entire carpet white again. I told him when they are done it matches the clean area under the rugs. The man sprayed a lot more cleaner and tried again. Then he said ‘I don’t know what your usual cleaner uses but I can’t get this clean and I’m using my strongest cleaners.’ The carpet sill looked dirty when he left. But as it dried it got even worse that before. My two oldest girls stood there looking at it and said, ‘Mom it looks even worse that before.’ They were right, it looked awful. It seemed like they had pulled additional dirt and stains to the surface. I call Referral Carpet Cleaning that night. I felt guilty, like I had cheated on them, but I explained what had happened. They were here the next day and had it looking perfect. They are really great people. I feel comfortable with them in my home.
